Management
The Fund Advisors are responsible for fund management and day-to-day management of the portfolio. Prior to making an investment, the Fund Advisors will present a comprehensive analysis of the purchase, including due diligence findings and financing options, to the Board of Directors. If the Investment Committee approves the investment, the property will be purchased.

John James founded the Boka Fund in 2005. He has spent a number of years in fundraising and finance and is experienced in brokering real estate opportunities in Central Europe and particularly Montenegro, introducing significant investment into real estate and commercial transactions, and providing advice to Central Government. In 2005, John, in partnership with John Kennedy, was responsible for creating and introducing a marina development opportunity which is the largest single investment in Montenegro, valued at some €500 million. Formerly he worked with Anglo-Suisse Capital, a London based Merchant bank and has traded equity portfolios and advised on corporate finance and public offerings in the UK. In addition, he has been active as a private banker for Fox Invest Zurich, a member of the CAT Group, introducing and supervising high net worth clients.

John Kennedy founded the Boka Fund in 2005 and has extensive experience in brokering and managing real estate opportunities in Montenegro having undertaken his first transaction in 2000. He was one of the first to identify the potential of the Montenegrin real estate market. In 2005, John, in partnership with John James, was responsible for creating and introducing a marina development opportunity which is the largest single investment in Montenegro, valued at some €500 million. He has extensive family connections throughout Montenegro. John Kennedy is a former member of the British Royal Household having served as Equerry and then Private Secretary. Between 1987-1989, he was Political Secretary to a member of the British Cabinet and has also conducted numerous business activities in the United Kingdom and abroad.
